When I found the above quote earlier this year, it immediately resonated with me, describing in just a few words my mission to help women feel confident and beautiful in who they are and how they present themselves to the world.
The results of the 2016 presidential election, though, still feel less than beautiful, for me and for so many others. As a small business owner, it's probably not wise to write about my political beliefs, but my candid nature prevents me from being anything less than honest about who I am and continue to be - a proud Hillary supporter. But even more than that, I support love, equality, and respect for all people. Once those initial election results started coming, the world suddenly started to lose its shine.
