Hello, my lovely readers!
Been wondering where I've been? Aside from a few pictures on Instagram and some posts on Facebook, I haven't been as active on the blog as I should be, but I have been heads down these last many weeks working to launch the personalized beauty advising side of Lady Bon Vivant. I'm happy to report I'm making steady progress, filing all the necessary paperwork to own and operate an LLC, working with the wonderfully talented graphic designer, Sara Misconish, to finish my beautiful logo and business cards, and networking, networking, and networking.
I also held the first Lady Bon Vivant Spring Beauty Open House a few weeks ago, where I invited my girlfriends to my home for an afternoon of bevvies, nosh, and of course, beauty. I wanted to create a safe space for my friends to ask questions about makeup products or brands, learn some new tips and tricks, and inspire them to play and experiment on their own. There were also give-aways, goody bags, and door prizes galore. I'll publish a blog post soon with all the details and am especially excited to write about the live, step-by-step makeup tutorials I did on two of my beautiful friends' faces, just one of many highlights of the afternoon for me. The open house was so successful, I'm adding it to the Lady Bon Vivant list of services, to help others create the same experience for their friends. It will be the perfect Girls' Day or Night Out activity!
Speaking of which, I'm putting the finishing touches on all the client-focused services that are going to be the cornerstone of Lady Bon Vivant, LLC, where as a personal beauty advisor, I'll work side-by-side with clients to explore the world of makeup and skin care. This includes anything from teaching makeup application lessons, helping a client declutter their makeup bag, and/or accompanying them to Sephora, Ulta, or even Walgreens to shop for that perfect new lipstick or eyeshadow. But wait, there's more! Stay tuned to find out.
In the meantime, follow me on social media - you can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even Tumblr (someday I'll figure out how to use Snapchat) - and do my best to update my blog more often with continued updates over the next few months. Until then...
Yours in beauty,
Lady Bon Vivant
